Founder and Board Vice President
Garrett Wenger
Director of Logistics
I'm an electrical engineer, and I work primarily on biomedical and healthcare adjacent hardware design. My hobbies include cramming one too many activity into a weekend and trying to convince my friends to play board games with me.
My favorite VU events are the ones where we get to do some sort of weird physical labor that's unusual for city living, like demolishing a wall or removing invasive species while wearing waders in the harbor.
Kelly Wilcox
Board President
I’m a senior Contracts Specialist at the American Institutes for Research, a behavioral and social science research organization dedicated to solving some of the most urgent challenges in the U.S. and around the world.
Outside of work, I love to travel, i’m always down for a concert, I aim to read 50+ books every year, and baseball season is my absolute favorite season. My favorite VU event is the Lego event with FIRST Lego League, which is held annually in the fall at Checkerspot Brewery in Baltimore City (their beer is delicious!).
Dallas Jordan
Director of Marketing
I am a Maryland Realtor specializing in the Baltimore-metro area. I focus on welcoming those relocating to our community and helping local homeowners successfully navigate the selling process.
Outside of work, I love to travel, spend time with my nephews, and volunteer. My favorite VU event is Blanket Making with Kennedy Krieger, because it’s a creative event and supports a great organization!
